Sri Lanka rejects US request to land combat aircraft at civilian airport
Sri Lanka's president said his government denied a U.S. request to land two combat aircraft at a civilian airport earlier this month to preserve the country's neutrality amid the U.S.-Israel war on Iran. The decision followed a similar rejection of an Iranian naval visit request on the same day.
